This power steering pump works great in most vehicles as a replacement for the belt-driven power steering pump. Very little modification is required to adapt the existing power steering lines to accommodate the pump. It runs on 12 volts, and requires a stout 12V system to handle the surges of 40- 50 amps when the pump is working its hardest. |

Note: Steering system fluid should be flushed & replaced with the OE recommended fluid. It's advised that power steering hoses be replaced on vehicles over 5 years old or high mileage vehicles.
