There's nothing quite like fabricating your own custom designs using a CNC mill. We've recently started carrying these great CNC conversion products from PROMiCA of Australia, which are designed for seamless integration with the popular and cost-effective X3 and Super X3 Mill. The CNC conversion kit we carry will allow for complete computer control of the otherwise manual mill. While a handful of CNC conversion kits for this mill exist, the kit and components we carry are superior for the following reasons (among many others):
- Kit provides complete solution - no hunting around for compatible components
- Simple and quick to perform the conversion
- Detailed technical manual (including assembly photos) included. Manual is also in layman's terms meaning someone with no experience with a mill could install it.

- Under normal operating conditions, accuracy and repeatability should be under 0.001”
- Kit is nearly waterproof. Motors can stand all the flood coolant (even water-based) you can give it and the wiring is protected by loom tubes or HDPE covers.
- Ballscrews are coated with managanese phosphate which retards corrosion.

| X3 4000 RPM Upgrade |
The standard X3 allows for only 2000 RPM at the highest speed. Promica now offers an easy to install kit which will allow the spindle to run at 4000 RPM! This upgrade is ideal for those who wish to use very small cutters or engraving tools. The upgrade uses the existing two setting gearbox on the X3 but changes the setttings to 0-2000 RPM and 0-4000 RPM. The mill should still use smaller bits at very high RPM. |

| 4 Axis Controller w/ 3 Axis Cards |
This 4 Axis intelligent controller comes with 3 axis cards to drive the PROMiCA 3-axis CNC mill. It can be expanded to a 4-axis controller with the addition of an axis card available on this page. The controller has low-level input buffering that allows it to work with most computers, including laptops (although not recommended). The controller will work with most CNC software such as Mach3, TurboCNC, etc. which is free of charge at machsupport.com. It comes equipped for 120VAC power supply. |

| 6" Rotary Table Conversion |
Oftentimes, your project would be better suited for a slightly larger mill. It can be annoying to have to turn the material around, refind the edge, and then continue running a milling program. The retrofitted Rotary Table was designed with those constraints in mind. Having a rotary table as a 4th axis decreases tooling and setup time significantly. The conversion kit is low profile (as are all other conversion kits we offer), making a smooth integration with the rest of your CNC kit. The table can be mounted vertically or flat on the mill table without issue. We offer the rotary table in 4 options.
